PORTRAIT WORKSHOPS
I’ve combined my passions for photography and learning to create fun and informative photography experiences, from short one-night courses to once-in-a-lifetime travel photography workshops. No matter your level of experience, whether you shoot on a mobile phone or DSLR, my workshop experiences offer knowledge, tips and techniques to improve your photography, and help identify your visual style.
THE ART OF PORTRAITURE
Portraiture is a highly creative art form. On my courses I cover not only how to take photographs, but explore how and why to develop your niche. I will help you find your photography style, develop your aesthetic, learn to develop a creative brief, and direct and photograph on shoot day using a variety of techniques including composition, lighting, posing and mood.
DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS
Technical skills development is often the most daunting part of digital photography. On my workshops I cover the concepts behind digital photography, as well as decoding the specific technical skills and terminology to help you realise your creative vision. I will translate the technical photographic jargon into plain English so you can quickly grasp concepts and walk away feeling confident. You will leave with a greater understanding of digital photography fundamentals, how to use your camera and new found skills to produce a creative, original and exciting body of work.
