Royal Indian Princess Diary Tour of Rajasthan, India – 13 – 24 September, 2019

Registrations are open now for this tour of India like no other!   I have dreamed of going to India for so long and so I’m incredibly excited to have joined forces with Jean Wethmar over at Glam Girls Lux Travels to offer this awe inspiring tour of India.

Starting and finishing in Delhi, we’ll be traveling to some of India’s most beautiful cities – Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer (the Golden City), Jaipur (the pink city), Ranthambore, Agra and Varanasi.

We’ll be seeing all that Rajasthan has to offer – from 16th-century palaces, bazaars, beautiful lakes that will take your breath away, camel and elephant rides, jungle safaris and so much more.  This twelve-day tour of Rajasthan is a unique mix of history, culture, food, and shopping.

Photography

From the architecture, the landscape, the colours, the culture, and the people, India is a vibrant country, rich in imagery and a photographer’s haven. For the first time, I’m collaborating with Glam Girls Travels and will be offering a masterclass in photography along with hands-on photography tuition while on tour with the aim of helping you get the best photos you’ve ever had from your travels.

During the tour, I’ll lead a workshop focussed on theory and the art of photography, covering travel, portraiture, composition, point of view, finding your style, and other topics tailored to your needs.  I’ll also provide on the spot tuition.

Whether you’ve just fallen in love with photography or are an experienced photographer, wish to use an iPhone or a DSLR, you’ll gain a deeper knowledge of photography and tips on taking great travel photos and go home with some amazing images.

And if travel is like love, it is, in the end, mostly because it’s a heightened state of awareness, in which we are mindful, receptive, undimmed by familiarity and ready to be transformed. That is why the best trips, like the best love affairs, never really end. Pico Iyer
